Pike Welfare
It has been brought to my attention that 2 separate pike caught at Stanley have had treble hooks still in there mouth or throat and have line on them of around eight pound,
Please can I remind all anglers fishing for pike minimum breaking strain line is 15lb and 20lb wire trace Must be used, Please read the rules on our website for individual waters, Anyone found not following them will be sent away and will face Disciplinary committee.
Bailiffs will be enforcing this so be aware that spot checks will be made.
