SOTAS Match Group - Club Events

At the AGM this year the committee unanimously approved the 2026 match calendar. The main features are :

​

Club Matches.

There are 15 matches – 5 at Noels Pool . 5 at Stanley Reservoir , 4 at Lodge Farm Pool and 1 at Rudyard Lake .

All club matches are on Sundays with the draw taking place at 8am . Fish 9.30am to 3.30pm.

Members wishing to fish must book on with the Match Secretary by the Thursday prior to the match. For Junior members wishing to be included within club matches a consent form must be completed by the Parent or Guardian that will be attending with them. Click here to download the form here. 

 

Veterans Matches.

There are 15 matches – 3 at Noels Pool , 3 at the Trent and Mersey Canal at Middleport , 3 at North Road Pool , 3 at Lodge Farm Pool and 3 at Challinors Pool.

All Veterans matches are on Thursdays with the draw taking place at830am. Fish 10am to 3pm.

Members wishing to fish must book on with the Assistant Match Secretary by the Monday prior to the match.

 

Junior / Academy Matches.

There are 4 matches – 1 at Noels/North Road pool, 2 at the Trent and Mersey Canal at Middleport , 1 at Lodge Farm Pool.

All matches are on Saturdays with the draw taking place at 9am . Fish 11am to 2pm.

Junior members wishing to fish must book on with the Academy Liaison Officer by the Thursday prior to the match.
