River Dove - Fauld
This is a fine stretch of river with many classic features. Long sweeping bends and shallow gravel runs. There are plenty of overhanging bushes and trees, which provide cover for the fish. The stretch offers countless margin features, islands, bars and shelves, and shallow runs. There is easy access to this stretch.
Species & Stocking
The River Dove is renowned for its Chub and Barbel fishing. Chub to 5lbs are not uncommon and there are confirmed reports of Barbel well in excess of 10lbs. There are Bream and Carp resident in swims upstream of the meadow leading to the weir. The early pegs being favoured for some Grayling fishing.

Directions take the A50 from Stoke to Sudbury, at the large roundabout turn right onto the A515, after 1.6 miles at the roundabout turn left to Coton in the Clay. After 2.6 miles there is a white cottage on the left, for length A-B park (P1) in layby approx 20m before the cottage access to the river is left across the field, for length C-D turn left down the lane to the farm and follow signs for the car park (P2) at the end of the track.
